Course
- This is a great cyclocross course. We have a good section of paved road (slight uphill), followed by a good section of gravel driveway (flat). A short section that goes through the woods is generally full width and flat with only a few little bumpy spots and some twists and turns. After the woods, you're back in open farm field, heading down the smooth, grassy access road. It's mostly down hill to the finish, but there are a few little twists. Most of the loopy/curvy stuff is in the start/finish area where you'll loop back and forth, dismount a couple times and sprint in front of the barn and all your screaming, cow-bell ringing fans. Right now the course is completely dry, though if we get some rain there will be a little mud but not much. There are three spots you'll get off the bike (most people will) - one triple barrier, and two natural obstacles of the short steep hill nature.
Volunteer...
- Contact Jeremy Gardner (xhabitat4humanityx[at]gmail[dot]com / (607) 539-7478) if you'd like to help us out at the race or in setting up.
- We'll be setting up at 5pm on Wednesday and Friday, and there will be open course both of those days as soon as we get the tape put up and so on. Feel free to come help and/or get a sneak preview of the course.
